Both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation is committed to protecting your privacy.  We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, Canada (“PIPEDA”) and the included provisions of the Canadian Standards Association Model Code to protect the personal information of the individuals who access our website at www.tatijanabusic.com (the “Site”).

Protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information is an important aspect of the way both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation conducts business.  Collecting, using, and disclosing personal information in an appropriate, responsible, and ethical manner is fundamental to both business’ daily operations.  Our Privacy Policy describes how both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation complies with PIPEDA, as well as how we collect and use your information through a variety of digital and non-digital means.  Each staff member of both companies must abide by this Privacy Policy when handling personal information.

We may modify this policy at any time, effective upon its posting to our website.  Your continued use of this website and any of our services constitutes acceptance of this policy and any updates.  This policy is incorporated into and is subject to the website. Terms of Use.

While this Privacy Policy is intended to generally describe our privacy practices, our goal is to also provide you with more detailed information at times when it’s most meaningful to you.  Please look for these notices throughout our website or within any documents you may receive from us.

COLLECTING INFORMATION

Information you give us

We collect information about you that you give us or permit us to access.  This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, date of birth, address, phone number, or e-mail address.

We may also collect information about your business, such as your business’ name, address, or telephone number.  Business information is treated and handled with the same level of confidentiality, privacy, and respect as personal information.

We may ask if you would like to opt-in to receive our newsletters or information on future promotions.  If you or your business opts in to receive our newsletters or information on future promotions, the option to unsubscribe will be provided with every communication from us, whether by e-mail, text, phone, or in-person.

Information we collect from you

We may automatically collect information regarding your interaction with, and use of, the Site.  Other information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, the identifier of the device you use to access the Site, hardware information, IP address and language, cookie information, system type, products and services purchased, and usage statistics.  Additionally, we may send cookies (not the tasty kind) to your computer in order to identify or improve our service.  At any point, you may decline the cookies in your browsers’ Internet settings.  However, doing so may prevent use of some of the Site.

Minor’s privacy 

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from people under the legal age in their jurisdiction, without the consent of their parent or legal guardian.

This Privacy Policy informs every one of Busic Consulting Inc.’s or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation’s commitments to privacy and establishes the methods by which your privacy is ensured.  It applies to all of Your Information within our possession and control.  Under this Privacy Policy, we may use Your Information to do the following:

SHARING INFORMATION

Service Providers & Third Parties

We may transfer Your Information to service providers and other third parties to conduct our business and for research purposes.  For example, service providers and third parties may verify the information you provide to us, assist us in assessing your eligibility for our services, handle credit card and e-transfer processing, data management, we will only provide Your Information to service providers and other third parties if they agree to abide by this Privacy Policy, and only to the extent necessary to fulfill their own business duties.

By Law or To Protect Rights

Either Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation may disclose Your Information upon governmental request, in response to a court order, when required by law, to enforce our policies, or to protect our own or others’ rights, property or safety.  We may share Your Information to prevent illegal uses of our products or services or violations of the website Terms of Use, or any of our other contracts, or to defend ourselves against third party claims.  We may also share Your Information with companies assisting in fraud protection or investigation.  

Location of and Protecting Your Information

Your Information will be maintained through a combination of paper and electronic files.  Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology and processed in a manner complying with all Payment Card Industry (PCI) PA-DSS best practices.  Access to Your Information will be authorized for the employees and other agents of either Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation who require the information to perform their job duties and to those otherwise authorized by law.  Our computer and network systems are secured by complex passwords.  Only authorized individuals may access our secure systems and databases.  Routers and servers connected to the Internet are protected by a firewall and are further protected by virus attacks or “snooping” by sufficient software solutions.  Your Information is not transferred to volunteers, summer students, interns, or other non-paid staff by e-mail or any other electronic format.

Where we have given you (or you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential.  We ask you not to share a password with anyone and suggest that you change your password frequently.

Disposal of Your Information

We will only retain Your Information for the duration that it is needed to conduct your business.  Once Your Information is no longer required, it will be destroyed in a safe and secure manner.  However, certain laws may require that parts of Your Information be kept for a specified period of time.  Where this is the case, the law will supersede this policy.

No Guarantee of Confidentiality

Unfortunately, like other companies, neither Busic Consulting Inc. nor Busic Psychology Professional Corporation can guarantee 100% the security or confidentiality of Your Information.  However, once we have received Your Information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try and prevent unauthorized access.

You acknowledge that the personal information you voluntarily share online, on any website, or provide to any third party, could be accessed or tampered with by a third party.  You agree that we are not responsible for any interception or tampering with Your Information, which occurs without our knowledge or permission.  Additionally, you release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of such intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.  You agree to notify us for any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your Information. 

LINKS

We may have links to third party websites on the Site. These websites have separate privacy policies so please be aware of and review the privacy policy of any other site you visit. You acknowledge and accept that we are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third parties.

Welcome to the Site’s Terms of Use Agreement, provided by both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation, which can be accessed at https://www.tatijanabusic.com/.  In this Agreement, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refers to both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Professional Corporation, and “You” refers to you, as a user of our Site.

Both Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation respects your privacy. Information provided on or related to the Site is subject to change.  Neither Busic Consulting Inc. nor Busic Psychology Professional Corporation make any representation or warranty that the information provided on the Site is accurate.

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only.  To access the Site, you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and have the requisite power and authority to enter into these Terms of Use.    

When accessing the Site you may be requested or required to provide information about yourself including your name, e-mail address, and other personal information.  You agree that any such information that you provide to us will always be accurate, correct, and up to date.  You will only be allowed to provide your own personal information, and not the information of others. 

You may electronically copy and print hard copies of any page on the Site for personal use only, provided that reference is made to Busic Psychology Consulting when the document is used.  You are prohibited from reproducing, publishing, transmitting, distributing, displaying, modifying, creating derivative works from, selling, or participating in any sale of, or exploiting in any way the Site or any of its contents. 

Failure to comply with the Terms of Use listed here may cause you to be removed and blocked from the Site, and/or for legal action to be taken by or on behalf of either Busic Consulting Inc. and Busic Psychology Professional Corporation, or both.

All intellectual property on the Site (the “Intellectual Property”) is owned by either Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation or its licensors, which includes materials protected by copyright, trademark, or patent laws. All trademarks and trade names are owned, registered, or licensed by either Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation.  All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, software, scripts, code, designs, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, applications, interactive features, and all other content (the “Content”) is property of Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation and is protected under copyright and other applicable Canadian and foreign laws.

You may not use in any format whatsoever any of the Content or the Intellectual Property, in whole or in part without our prior written consent or as provided in these Terms of Use. Any use of the Content and Intellectual Property not expressly permitted in these Terms of Use is a breach of these Terms of Use and may violate copyright and other laws.  Any copyright or other legal infringement may result in legal action taken by or on behalf of either Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation, or both. 

Unless expressly provided in writing otherwise by us all comments, feedback, information or materials submitted to us through or in association with the Site (“User Material”) will be considered non-confidential and our property.  By submitting such comments, feedback, information, or materials to us, you agree to a no-charge, sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable assignment to us of all worldwide rights, title and interest in copyrights and other intellectual property rights to the comments, feedback, information, or materials.  We will be free to use, copy, or distribute such comments, feedback, information, or materials on an unrestricted basis without accounting to you. 

NO PSYCHOLOGICAL, MEDICAL, OR HEALTH CARE ADVICE PROVIDED

We do not provide psychological, medical or health care advice on the Site.  The content on the Site is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment. CONSULT YOUR PSYCHOLOGIST, PHYSICIAN, OR OTHER QUALIFIED HEALTH CARE PROVIDER FOR ADVICE REGARDING ANY HEALTH CONDITION. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SELF-DIAGNOSE OR TREAT ANY HEALTH CONDITION BASED ON ANYTHING CONTAINED ON THE SITE. We can neither endorse nor recommend products, and information provided on the Site is of a general nature for educational and informational purposes only. Reliance on any information provided by us through the Site is at your own risk.  Statements made on the Site may not have been evaluated by Health Canada.  If you think you may have a medical emergency call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

MOBILE SERVICES

The Site contains services and features that are available to certain mobile devices, such as any phone, tablet, console, or other device (“Device”).  Your carrier’s normal rates and fees apply.  Not all of our mobile services will work with all carriers or Devices.  By using the Site, you agree that we may communicate with you by electronic means to your mobile Device and that certain information about your use of the Site may be shared with us.  If you change or deactivate your mobile phone number, you must promptly update your account information to ensure that we don’t send your messages to a different person.

INDEMNIFICATION

You shall indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, actions or demands, liabilities and settlements, as well as third party claims and causes of action, including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, resulting from your violation of these Terms of Use, or any use by you of the Site. You shall bear the sole financial burden in connection with any such defense, including, without limitation, providing us with such information, documentation and reasonable access to you, as we deem necessary. You shall not settle any third party claim or waive any defense without our prior written consent from Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation, as applicable.

TERMINATION

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to terminate your account, delete your profile (if applicable)and any of your User Material, and restrict your use of all or any part of the Site for any or no reason, without notice, and without liability to you or anyone else.  We also reserve the right to block users from certain IP addresses or Device numbers and prevent access to the Site.  These Terms of Use remain in effect even after any termination.  The Terms of Use relating to Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Miscellaneous, and terms that by their nature may survive termination will survive any termination of these Terms of Use. 

EMAIL MAY NOT BE USED TO PROVIDE NOTICE

Communications made through the Site’s email and messaging system will not constitute legal notice to Busic Consulting Inc. or Busic Psychology Professional Corporation or any of its officers, employees, agents or representatives in any situation where legal notice is required by contract or any law or regulation.

GOVERNING LAW; MEDIATION; VENUE

These Terms of Use will be construed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of the Province of Ontario, and of Canada, exclusive of choice of law rules. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use first by good faith negotiation.  The exclusive venue for any arbitration or court proceeding based on or arising out of these Terms of Use shall be Toronto, Ontario, and any such decision or award shall be binding on the Parties. The prevailing party or parties shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and other costs incurred in that action or proceeding, in addition to any other relief to which it or they may be entitled.

MISCELLANEOUS

Should any provision of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the other provisions shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms of Use bind and enure to the benefit of the parties’ successors and assigns. We may assign or delegate these Terms of Use and/or our Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, to any person or entity at any time with or without your consent.  These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, are not assignable by you; any transfer, assignment or delegation by you is invalid.

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to their relationship and supersede any and all prior oral or written agreements, understandings and representations to the extent that they relate in any way to the subject matter hereof.  No waiver of any of the provisions shall bind either party unless set forth in writing specifying such waiver, consent or amendment signed by both parties.

The headings of these Terms of Use are provided for convenience only and shall not affect its construction or interpretation.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use, without modification, and acknowledge reading them.  We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use or to impose new conditions on use of the Site, from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Use on the Site.  It is your sole responsibility to check the Site from time to time to view any such changes to these Terms of Use.  By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the new Terms of Use with the modifications.
